Testing from my iPhone

So is m so behind and almost just quit blogging because of it but then Ryan told me how much he love going through our blog and he thinks our kids will appreciate it....so... Once again I will persevere for our posterity!

My parents just got me an iPhone for my birthday and this might help me keep up. So is an testing it out with a little update!

This is a picture of Olly I took today. He is 5 1/2 months and doing awesome!

He is already loving basketball!

He is also sitting like a pro!

He is allergic to me eating dairy products :( That's a big bummer.

But...he is sleeping through the night most nights! If only we could get Claire to do the same!

We are super in love with our little man!

Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter. We had dinner with some close friends and just enjoyed being together. We finally got a family picture. This may be one of the first ones since Olly was born.

This is Claire and Olly in a nutshell. They love each other sooo much! Just recently Olly has been starting to recongize people and he gets soo excited when he sees Claire and smiles and laughs at her. Claire of course loves it! They are the sweetest little couple.

Oh Lilia Cliare!

I don't know if I will ever be able to describe how much I love my children! Unfortunately, the English language does not have words adequate enough to describe the emotion I feel for them!
Claire recently turned 2 years old! I just thought I would make a post dedicated to her!
Right now, Claire is at the cutest, funnest age! She is also at the most trying, difficult age. I have actually had to start disciplining... :-( That is NOT my forte! I HATE it. The only way I can talk myself into doing it, is that I know that it is what is best for her and what will make her into the best person she can be. Luckily, it hasn't taken too much. She really loves to please and is so good at reasoning withl.

I wish so bad that Claire and I could just be best friends. I wish that I didn't have to be the mother, although at the same time, I couldn't handle the thought of not being her mom. Oh Motherhood! What conflicting emotions you bestow upon me!

All that being said I am soooo grateful to be her mother and to know this special spirit! She is an incredible person and has so much potentional. She is the person who turned me into a mother and she has taught me so much about being a mother. I just love her and I am so thankful for her presence in my life!

Oh and I am grateful for the joy she brings into our lives!

Here are just so more pictures of the many sides of Claire. One of her latest phases is, she is OBSSESSED with anything princess. She calls all princesses Thumbelina and she truly believes she is a Thumbelina, which she is and I fully support her in feeling that way! :-)

She loves to pose for pictures. She is such a goof!

Oh my! This is a perfect picture because it is 100% her!

Do you see why I am in love with this child? How could you not be?

The story behind this picture is funny. So we got out of the car after church and she ran up to the steps, turned around and sat down just like this and said, "Mom, picture of me, please!"

Oh, Claire Bear! I hope you never lose your love for life! I hope you can maintain your confidence in who Heavenly Father made you to be! We love you so much and are so grateful you came into our lives 2 years ago!

2 Months

Little man is 2 months old!
He is HUGE! He is in the 95th percentile for height (24.5 inches) and 90th percentile for weight (16 lbs 1 oz).
He is sooo sweet! He just has the sweetest spirit! We love him so much!
He is such a flirt! Everywhere we go he has women fawning all over him. I obviously think he is precious but it is so fun when other people say it too!
I just have to say, it is the hardest thing I have ever been, but I LOVE being a mom!

Zoo with Grandpa and Grandma Loveland

Unfortunately, while Ryan's parents were here the weather was pretty chilly. But one day it verged into the fifties so we decided to go to the zoo. Claire loved going there with her grandparents!

I thought this was just too precious! Grandpa and Claire bear!

There is a neat park at the zoo. We took a break from animals and let Claire play for a while.

Yeah, she is too cool for school.

Claire loves her grandma and grandpa Loveland. We miss them so much!

Oliver's Blessing Day

Olly was bless on Feb. 24, 2013. It was so wonderful! Ryan did a great job!

It was such a blessing that my grandparents were able to make it out for the blessing. These are my dad's parents. I love them so much!

Ryan's parents came out and stay with us for a while after we had Oliver. It was such a blessing! They were the best help ever! It was so sad when they left. We love you guys so much!

Pure Deliciousness

This is my little guy! I just love him! He is so sweet! Words really can't describe!!

This little guy at 4 weeks is wearing 6-9 month closthes...He is HUGE! He will turn out to be a tall drink of water like his old man!!

Indianapolis Children's Museum

So, a LARGE part of my childhood was spent in the Indianapolis Children's Museum. I mean, a lot of my dreams take place there or in the neighboorhoods surrounding there.
I was born in Indianapolis and lived there until I was 7 years old. To date, Indianapolis is still the place that I have lived the longest...although I may not remember most of it ;-)
Well, we only live 2 hours away so we decided to take a little field trip there. It was surreal to bring my own daughter to my childhood dreamland.

This was Claire digging for ancient Chinese artifacts. She's pretty brillian at the age of 23 months!

She LOVED everything!

This just happened to be her favorite exhibit. She LOVES motorcycles.

Her and Olly got worn out and loved chilling in the jogging stroller together. Claire is such a sweet big sister and is always on the look out for her little brother.

All in all it was a great trip. Olly was 4 weeks old and traveled like a dream. Claire did too. It was such a treat to go out with our family. I cannot wait til Ryan is done with school and we can do more as a family together!

Some Sweet Daddy Lovin'

Ryan is pretty much THE MAN! I love him so much! It seems that my love for him grows with each kid! I love seeing him love our babies! We wish we had more time with him but between him working part time (2 12 hour night shifts a weeks) and doing graduate school full time, we miss out on a lot of daddy time. But he tries his best to spend as much time with us! Thanks for your sacrifice Big Guy!

He loves his Olly and his Olly loves him!

Our little smushed up baby! This is Olly at 4 weeks.

Oh be still my beating heart! Is there anything more yummy then your hubby wearing your baby???? Didn't think so! I think I love this guy!
Oh funny story, when Ryan first wore Olly, he said, "Oh, now I know how you felt when you were pregnant!"....ummm....Ryan.....NO! Not even close, dear!

1 week and a Bothced Photo Shoot

Its amazing how much faster time flies with the second baby! This is our little rascal at one weeks! So precious!

This is Claire and Sophie...They are quite the pair!

And Claired had to get into the photo shoot of course!

Here is the bothced photo shoot. I don't know if it is because he is too skinny or the lighting or what, but his pictures didn't turn out that well...

Ok, they turned out REALLY bad!! lol! He is just too skinny to be cute right now!

So he is only 1 week old and no joke he held his head like this for a good solid minute! He must be a Loveland! He is a strong boy!

This is cute though! Claire LOVES her baby brother Olly! She has to give him loves all the time. If he cries she is right there patting his back or telling me to help him. I definitely have a mini mom on my hands!

I couldn't resist putting this picture in! I have a special place in my heart for both of these people! I love how they love each other!

2 weeks

This little man is growing and growing. He is already out of his 0-3 months clothes! He is going to be huge I think!

We are so in love with this little guy!

Claire is cheering for her baby brother in this picture.
Learning how to transition from one to two kids isn't as hard as I thought it would be...but there are still challenges! Right now, figuring out bedtime is pretty rough. Especially because with Ry in his hardest semester yet, he can't help as much as he'd like. We will get there though!

Mr. Jack Oliver has arrived!

Mr. Jack Oliver is here!!! He came in at 9 lbs 1 oz! He is absolutely perfect! We love him! Claire sure can't get enough of him! I will post his birth story later for right now I will just post some pics of us at the hospital.

Claire knew who he was right off the bat! She couldn't get enough of him!

Grandpa is taken with him too! It was so neat that my family got to visit that night I had him! This little guy is named after my dad, Jack, and Ryan's dad Oliver. He will go by Oliver or Ollie.

Claire thought his hospital bed was pretty cool :)

This may not be the most attractive picture of me and I almost didn't post it, but then I thought, 'Hey, I just had a 5 hour, natural, water birth and went through the most pain I had ever experienced and pushed out a 9 lb baby. I am allowed to have a bad picture!'

 Claire just being Claire!

Ryan was so proud of his little boy! He is the best dad ever!

Mr. Oliver himself!

This is the day after I had him. Look at how he fills out that 3 month sleeper! He is a really long baby!

We are in absolute heaven! He is such a happy baby! We are so grateful for this new little blessing!
