The White family

Thinking about Christmas time has really made me super homesick. I come from a HUGE family! and I love each one of them!

It makes me feel very sad that I won't be able to spend some quiet moments with my mom in the quiet room talking about what ever is on our mind and enjoying our wonderful friendship that has grown so strong! Or those crazy moments at Wal-mart with all the kids, but still enjoying every minute because I am with my amazing mom!

I am going to miss all the little chocolate goodies that my dad has my mom buy for me...He knows how to win me heart;) and I will miss the wonderful early morning runs with my dad. I always enjoyed our talks on those runs.

It breaks my heart when I think that my little brothers and sisters are growing up and getting old and changing with out me there! It literally hurts me that I can't be with them.

I really miss being with Scott and Seth. I really respect and admire each of those boys so much for who they have become. They are such wonderful men and I am so proud to call them my brothers.

I really miss joking around and singing random songs with my sister Trina. She has this way of making me happy. I miss matching our outfits and teasing each other all the time~

Early Christmas!

So quick story: One day Markee and I were out shopping for Christmas presents for our sweet husbands. We walked into the wonderful world of Wal-mart and within 5 minutes we made a very impulsive yet wonderful decision...We decided that I was going to buy Ryan Band Hero and Markee was going to buy Eric the wii....This is a little ironic because Ryan and I don't even own a functioning TV let alone a wii, but we just decided that we would leave the Band Hero at the Stoners and play there when ever school, work and life allows! It was probably one of the best decisions of our lives. The boys were so excited to open their presents early!
You can just see the sheer joy on their faces.
Here they are posing before their lives changed for ever
At this moment I think our husband realized how blessed they are to have such amazing wives...can't you just see that thought process on their faces?

Ginger Bread Houses!

So a little while ago we bought some sweet roller blades at a garage sale, this was right after buying new bikes. I was telling my mom abou this and she said that it seems like I am trying to relive my childhood...hmmmm....maybe I am! Maybe its just because I am so homesick I am trying to reconnect with my childhood when I was at home... or maybe it is because childhood is so fun! I really don't see why the rest of my life can't just be an extra long childhood. I know Ry-guy is on board for that, so why not?
So along those lines, last week on one of our late night wal-mart trips I had this fabulous idea! Why not make ginger bread houses this year with our friends the Stoners? How fun would that be?!?! So we bought over 20$ worth of goodies to let our sweet creative juices flow!

It was the Stoners, the Lovelands, and Jesse Burt and his sweet girlfriend Lindsey. We had a contest....hehe guess who won?!?!

This was just some of the goodies! Oh man my pancreas got a workout that night :)

I couldn't control myself!
It was a mess!
This was our Russian palace!

We had the Stoners neighboors come over and judge it. Jesse and Lindsey got 3 rd place with their Japanese Tower of pain.
The Stoners got 2nd place with their White House.
Ryan and I were pretty stoked that our creative juices awarded us with FIRST place!! Ha I am not sure why, I think the judges felt bad for Ry and I!

Night on the Town!

The other night was a LONG night! We had to do a test that ended up taking 5 hours! It was probably because we weren't prepared for it...But still that's crazy! It was about critical care nursing and was pretty in depth. Well we passed, and after that we HAD to take a break. Granted it was around 4 a.m. so there was no where else to go but IHOP, so IHOP we went! We actually had a blast that night. After IHOP we went to Wal-mart and got some goodies for some Ginger bread houses we are going to make on Sunday, then we hit th YMCA and pumped some IRON!! The picture above is Ry and I at IHOP waiting for our food.
The pic above is me enjoying my 4 a.m. omlet...there is something so wrong about that, that makes it so right! (hey we worked out afterwards....right....?)
This Ry so engrossed in the goodness of IHOP... For him it is always the time for ultra bacon, sausage, beef omlet!
Ry insisted I put this pic up. This is me in the Wal-mart parking lot. Ryan had recently bought me this coat, he likes it a lot so he wanted me to document it for our posterity...

So this was a very busy week with school. This week started off with our heater broken on Monday! It was horrible. We only had Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this week to get homework done and have you ever had to do homework in a fridgid living room? Oh man, it doesn't work! Ryan let our landlord know about it and in the mean time he went and got a space heater at wal-mart so that I could get some homework done. This picutre is of me bundled up with the heat warmer at my feet so I could stay warm. (Note the sweet arm warmers)

But we did have a bright spot of our week! Markee's birthday was on Tuesday, so on Monday we stayed up til midnight so we could wish her a happy birthday! Then her husband was so sweet and bought her a pedicure for her and a friend, so we got to go get our feet done! It was the first time I ever got a pedicure and it was so neat! Thanks E-dog! Then we went shopping and we got to hang out the rest of the day! Ryan and Eric went and looked at motorcycles while we were shopping. It was such a nice break from work and school.
After that we had to buckle down and do home work and then work the rest of the week. Tonight I am sitting at work there are no paitents at the moment so I thought I'd take a second to blog. It was so fun the Stoners came and stopped by and brought Ryand and I some delicious blizards! Thanks guys! Of course my coworkers absolutely fell in love with Nash. Its just about impossible not to fall in love with hime though! Ry and I hope we can have a baby half as cute as him.

We had a going away party for the sister missionairies in our ward. This sumer Ryan and I got to be really close with them. We were sad to see them go, but we are excited that they promised to come back and visit us!

Audrey is just chillaxing on the love sac

Nash is the Stoners little boy. He is the CUTEST boy in the world. He was being so cute that night. For some reason he feel in love with the potato...He walked around using it as a pacifier. Ha! He was so cute!

Christmas in November?

(These are my arm warmers, I tried them out at work. If you can't tell, I had just woke up and was a little tired.)

So I have a quick story to tell. oOne day Ry and I had a long stressful day at clinicals. We came home and were totally exhausted. We had tons of homework to do, but we really needed to take our bikes into the bike shop for some tune ups. So we divided and conquered, Ry went to the bike shop and I did homework. Homework always tends to put in a bad mood though. So needless to say by the time Ryan came home I was about ready to snap! I am sad to say that I may have been less to pleasant to Ryan. Like always though, he was super patient with me. He brought out bikes in from our car. When he came back from the back room I noticed he had something in his hands...They were these AWESOME arm warmers I have been lusting after for months now! They are perfect for bike riding because they are easy to put on and take off to keep you at the right temperature, but aside from all of that, they are BEAUTIFUL! I just love all the colors! Well, they were kind of pricey so I never thought about actually getting them. Ryan, on a whim (which he doesn't get to often), just decided to by those for me for Christmas, but he was too excited about them to wait til Christmas so he caved and gave them to me then! It was the sweetest thing in the world and, I know this sounds silly, but it gave me more energy to get more homework done. He is amazing!

Thanksgiving!!!

Ok, so I do have some pictures from Thanksgiving, but Iwill have to add them after I figure out how to get them off of my camera..Complicated story...
Anyways, Thanksgiving was a BLAST! We had Thanksgiving at our wonderful friends, the Stoners house. There were around 30 people who came and went...it was intense!! But it was so neat to have so many different people. There were all of these different dishes that I had never tried. Like, who would have thought that artichoke casserole could be so delicious! Or who ever heard of cheesy pineapples?? Believe me, they were GREAT! Even though we were not with one relative it felt like we were surrounded by family. It was kind of sad, Ryan and I had to work that night so we did not have as much time to hangout with everyone as we would have liked, but it was still so fun!

I have just have to give a little shout out to everything I am thankful for. (this is mainly for my scrap book I am going to make from my blog, so it may be a tad cheezy, sorry!
I am so grateful for my amazing best friend/husband Ry-guy. He is the kindest person I have ever met and is such an amazing guy!
I am so thankful for all my amazing family! Both of us have been so blessed to come from amazingly supportive loving families and we know we would not be where we are right now with out them!
I am so thankful for my incredible friends! We have been soooo blessed in that department! They really add so much joy to our lives!
I am very thankful for my job. I love the opportunity I have to be part of the miraculous miracle of birth on a daily basis! It's amazing!
I am thankful for Ryan's job and what a hard worker he is! I know he will always provide for us!
Last but not least I am just so thankful for the gospel and the opportunity I have to know I will be with my amazing husband and family for eternity.

Another Great Day!

Today was a great day. Ryan and I had our first clinicals of the semester...Yes, we did just barely start, but do not worry we will complete them before December 15...hopefully. The clinicals were really great though because both Ry and I were in the NICU taking care of sick babies together. We actually got to both go to the same C-section. It was kind of fun for Ry to see me in action delivering a baby. Ryan also got to spend so time with a nurse anesthetist. That was really neat for him.
We also bought our first Christmas tree ever! It was at Goodwill and we got it brandnew for 25$! I am excited! I can't wait to get it all decorated and cute for Christmas! We are going to Boise for Christmas, but Ryan promised me that we could celebrate our own Christmas before we go, it is going to be super fun!
Then we had a blast at Eric and Markee Stoner's home. We are like their little orphans and they feed us on almost a daily basis. They are so fun to hangout with. It is nice to be able to relax with friends and get a break from stressing about school.
Now it is on to more homework! Somehow we get finished school! hopefully :)

All in all it was a BLAST! It was 5-6 miles of running, 9 miles of bike riding and 5ish miles of canoeing. It was intense, there were definitely a few times when I felt like I wouldn't be able to finish. Ryan was so supportive though. I was one of the neatest experiences to do that with Ryan. He did so well! He is just one of those people who are naturally fit and physically gifted. He dfinitely could have finished much quicker but he stuck right with me. Uncle Drake was so great, too! he drove 15 hours just for this race. He brought tons of extra gear for us. He showed us how to do everything and what to expect. We are planning on doing some more adventure races with him. All I can say is at the end of the race when I just wanted to fall apart or be knocked out because I was so sore, I still wanted to get back on my bike and do some more trails! It's awesome!
This was right before the race! I was so nervous! At one point I was shaking violently!!
It was absolutely beautiful! This is the lake we canoed for about 5 miles! It was breath taking!
This is Ryan and uncle Drake unloading Drake's Kayac.
I think I have been replaced!!!!! Ryan has found a new love!
This is at our hotel. We had two queen size beds. We wanted our bikes to be at their best performance so we made sure they slept comfortable...

This is at the beginning of our trip. There was just something so satisfactory to look behind us and see two sweet bikes attached to our car!

Ok, so we are starting a blog! It might take me awhile to get it down, but it seems like it will be fun! Part of the reason we thought it would be a good idea to start a blog is because Ryan and I have been having the time of our lives lately and we figure we should document it for posterity's sake, you know? :)
One thing we have done lately is we have just gotten new mountain bikes. They are the Felt q620 and they are BEAUTIFUL! We also just finished our first Adventure Race ever! Uncle Drake White was our mentor and we just had the time of our lives!! As soon as I figure out how to post the pictures I will do that.
