Good Times with the Family

I have found some older pictures of us with my family so I thought I would post them. The picture above is Ryan playing with the kids in our wash in Arizona.
This is Scott and Ryan showing some love...They are comfortable with themselves at least, right?
Anna loves to cuddle with us. She is so funny. She likes to compete with me for Ryan's love. Ha, I love it! She was even telling me the other day how she brags about Ryan's muscles at school...

This is the family and some fiends playing kick ball for Family Home Evening.
This is Anna and I going on a family walk. I was about 20 weeks pregnant. It was one of the first walks I went on since getting sick. It was wonderful when I got to the point!
This is Dad and I brushing out all of Shadrach's hair! He is a crazy dog, but I love him! He looks all big and scary (he reminds me of a mix between a wolf, a dog and a mountain lion) but he is the biggest baby, as you can tell :)
This picture was taken this morning. I found this dress for Anna on sale on Black Friday and I just had to get it! She looks BEAUTIFUL. My brothers are pretty studdly too:) Austin is on the left, he is 12, Anna is 9, Levi will be 11 on December 18!
This was Anna teaching Ryan the piano! It was really cute. They really love each other!

This is a funny picture because in real life Austin was actually protesting being held like that but it looks like he is smiling and loving it! Ha, I think he really did love it :)
This is Trina (17 years old) taking a Mental Health Day from school. In our family we are not too strict about school attendance and sometimes mom feels like kids just need a break! So Trina stayed home from school and made Ryan and I delicious cupcakes! Thanks K-Train!
Oh Anna...Last Friday Ryan, Levi, Anna and I went on a date. We saw a movie and then went shopping. I was looking at some clothes for Ryan and I turned around and Anna had found herself another date! She was holding the manican's hand and asked, "Aren't you jealous?" Ha, Anna is just a character! I love her so much! It was really fun with Levi too. I was telling Ryan if our kids were like them we could have 20!

The Boy and His Dog

When we first moved here and I was so sick, Sophie, my families dog, would lay curled up to me all day long. She would get very worried when I would throw up and always started barking and run off and tell my mom. Well, as I started to get better she started to bond with Ryan more too. Now Ryan and her are very close. Ryan was never too excited about having indoor animals, but now HE is the one who will grab her before we go to bed and invite her to sleep with us; and of course she always graciously accepts that offer!

This is Sophie. She is half Jack Russel Terrier and half Corgi, AKA Co-Jack. She is incredibly smart and sweet. She is a great guard dog. In fact when Sophie feels that one of the kids is a danger to Ryan or me, she will bark at them and tell them to back away. It is pretty funny.

Sophie loves to be held like this...I know she is an odd dog! Ryan will walk around just holding and scratching her and she loves it.

This is her in her favorite sleeping position. She sleeps like this in between Ryan and I and under the covers. She is so funny.
They really do love each other!

Love Auntie Annie Anne!!!!!!

It's a GIRL!!!!!!!

We had an ultrasound yesterday! I got it a little later than normal (24 weeks) because we had to wait for Ryan's insurance to kick in.

It was one of the neatest experiences! Ryan couldn't come because he had to work, so my mom came instead. It was so sweet of her to take that time it made all the difference in the world (I HATE doctors offices).

Well, we found out that we are having a beautiful, gorgeous, amazing, talented, lovely, sweet baby... GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!IT was so neat, you could see so much! It definitely looks like she has Ryan's nose! So cute!!! Everything is perfectly healthy! The placenta, cervix, heart rate, growth rate...EVERYTHING looks great!! I was so happy to see that! It made everything I've gone through totally worth it! We also think that she might be a little dancer! We saw her feet kicking and tiptoeing so much! Grandma (my mom) feel in love with her too.

We decided on a name for her awhile ago. ( I knew she was going go be a girl this whole time.) We are going to continue on with the family tradition of calling the baby by the middle name. Ever since I became pregnant I could feel her sweet little spirit and it reminded me so much of my mom, I knew I had to name my baby after her. I also had a best friend/roommate in college who's name is Claire and she is one of the most incredible woman I have ever known. So we figured naming our baby girl Claire after two of the most incredible women ever couldn't hurt her chances.
So her middle name (the name she will go by) is going to be Claire! We just have to figure out a first name now....Any ideas?
