The Lovelands: June 2011

Wow, how time flies!! She turned 3 months on June 10th.
She is doing so well and has totally turned the corner. She is just so happy and pleasant all the time (unless she is hungry...). She is still breast feeding like a champ! No problems there. She is amazing and the last 2 weeks has put herself on a schedule. Wow, NOW I know why people make such a big deal about schedules. It is amazing! She is happy and so I am happy. Her schedule goes like this :

8:00 a.m. Wake up
eat~play~eat~play
10:00 a.m. morning nap
11:00 a.m. wake up
eat~play~eat
12:00 afternoon nap
3:30 p.m. wake up
eat~play~eat~play~eat
5:00 p.m. evening nap
6:00 p.m. wake up
eat~play~eat~play~eat~play
8:00 p.m. go to sleep

If you didn't notice she sleeps for the majority of her day...I would be alittle worried but the Dr. says its just fine and according to my mom, that is exactly how I was when I was a baby. What a life :) When she is awake she is so happy and loves to play and interact. I thought I would share some of the things she loves to do:

She loves to sit in her little chair. She will just sit there and watch everyone and what they are doing. She is definitely an observer.

She loves to spend time with her daddy. When ever she sees him she gives him this open mouth smile. I am still working on getting a picture of that.

She loves to play with mama on the play mat. She also loves to play, suck, and chew on mama's hair. If you notice she has a fistful of it :)

This is out of place and my computer is not letting me move it, but this is her hanging with the daddy again.

She not only loves to play on her play mat but just the other day she learned how to roll over on to her tummy and back! I was so proud of her!

She loves to play with her stuff animals. Her Auntie Annie Ann is wonderful at sharing her toys with her and Claire takes playing with her animals very seriously. She actually takes a lot of life seriously. She is like her dad and is constantly trying to figure everything out.
